WCMRC maintains a growing fleet of emergency response vessels, including custom-built oil spill response vessels, deck and tank barges, landing craft, skiffs and workboats. Vessels are stationed at various bases but can be redeployed or repositioned anywhere along the coast to support response efforts, training exercises, operational needs, or other organizational initiatives.
Skiffs are small vessels or barges. Small vessels are useful for response in and around docks. Skiff barges are used as marine trailers to transport boom and recovered waste.
