Oversee the preparation and approval of corporate financial reports, including financial statements, related notes and appendices, and the monthly and annual close processes.
Establish, implement, and monitor internal controls, finance policies, and procedures to safeguard corporate assets, ensure financial integrity, and support efficient and effective operations.
Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of annual budgeting processes, departmental variance reporting, corporate tax remittances and filings, and the approval of disbursements, banking, rates, and billing activities.
Manage the annual external audit process and work with internal stakeholders to identify financial reporting requirements, implement effective solutions, and continuously improve processes and systems.
Provide leadership to the department through goal setting, performance management, succession planning, staff development, and participation in recruitment and selection activities.
Act as Finance Section Chief during spill responses on a rotational basis with the Director, Finance.

What You Bring

As a seasoned finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset, you bring a combination of leadership capability, operational excellence, and attention to detail in a regulated and mission-driven environment.

You will bring:
