WCMRC is recruiting for a Project Controller to join the Corporate Projects team, located at our corporate office in Burnaby, B.C. This is a one-year contract position, with potential for renewal based on continuing business needs. This position will be particularly appealing to an individual who wants to contribute at all stages of a project to track progress and recommend strategies to maximize resource allocation and ensure successful outcomes.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Projects, the Project Controller will assist with monitoring and determining budget resources and time allocation of the identified project portfolio. This position will work with all levels of management and staff throughout the project cycle to successfully define and coordinate multiple project forecasts and project schedules.
To be successful in this role you will bring a minimum of three years of previous experience in a Project Controller or similar role. A Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience is essential. You will need a good understanding of, and experience in, budgeting, cost reporting, progress and earned value reporting as well as exceptional MS Excel skills. Primava P6 skills are considered an asset and PMP, AAEC or an accounting designation are desirable.
